Blind Man Saved From Subway By Guide Dog Will Get To Keep His Pooch!

Cecil Williams, who fell into the path of an oncoming A train at the NYC 125th St. station on Tuesday, tearfully thanked Orlando, the guide dog who stuck by him after the two fell onto the tracks. Thanks to donations, Williams will be able to keep Orlando, having thought he would have to give the dog up after he retired from service.  At first, it was thought that the blind man would have to give up his life saving dog because of financial issues, but now it appears, enough donations have been raised to allow the man to keep both his loyal Black Lab and a younger dog who will take over as guide dog. Happy Christmas tears!
