When my wife embarked on a new career, she came acrossthe Education Planner Self Assessment Test as part of her change. Her results totally corresponded with how she felt she best learned new skills throughout her life, from grade school to the business world. I took the test too, and it was right on for me as well.
With back to school season here, if you find your child having a rough time learning, maybe it's not them, it's that they don't learn best in the fashion they are being taught...the formal classroom. Tactile people are less likely to learn in a typical classroom setting. They are often creatively gifted, but easily distracted. Meanwhile, this test showed I'm 40% Auditory, 30% Visual, and 30% Tactile, which makes sense, and shows I'm in the right field, communications.
Take the Education Planner Self Assessment for yourself, or have your kids do it. You may be surprised at what you find out about yourself, and it may help you learn better in the future!

First off, this spot is for EAST HILLS MALL in Missouri, not the mall here on Transit Rd. In our mind, it worked! This is so bad, it's memorable, and likeable!
