The Interview – the new Seth Rogen/ James Franco film – hasn’t even been released yet, and it’s already causing an international uproar.
On Tuesday, we talked about how Kim Jong Un was unhappy with the film’s premise – that Rogen and Franco are recruited by the CIA to assassinate him. But a spokesman for the North Korean dictator said that Un would probably watch the film anyway.
Yesterday, Un’s tune changed - a little bit. The government of North Korea stated that the movie is a “wanton act of terror” and that North Korea would deliver “merciless” retaliation if the film is released.
Seth took the news rather well…
People don't usually wanna kill me for one of my movies until after they've paid 12 bucks for it. Hiyooooo!!!
