11 Food Hacks for the Best Tailgate Ever

Use mason jars to protect chips? Pack things in an indestructible tool box? These are GREAT tailgate hints from The Daily Meal! Never would have thought of these. But then RLITM is the type that heads right into the stadium, never was a good "stand around in the parking lot and throw a football" guy.

On Demand Audio: Home - Bills Fan Mix

We had a huge reaction after playing this a few times yesterday.
STAR Newsman and WBEN Producer Tom Connolly created this montage
of Phillip Phillips "Home" and Bills fans calling Entercom stations after finding
out that Terry and Kim Pegula got the team. Very moving. Enjoy!

Random Music Notes...

U2's fans can download their new CD, 'Songs of Innocence', free on iTunes and other Apple products through October 13th. 'Songs of Innocence' was downloaded over 200,000 times yesterday

Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt will host the season premiere of SNL on Saturday, September 27th. Ariana Grande is the musical guest

Taylor Swift tells Rolling Stone that her new CD, ''1989', doesn't rip men. "Different phases of your life have different levels of deep, traumatizing heartbreak. And in this period of my life, my heart was not irreparably broken. So it's not as boycentric of an album, because my life hasn't been boycentric. "It's not like I've sworn off love. My life is just not conducive to bringing other people into it right now. I'm very childlike and romantic about lots of things, but I'm realistic about this. When your number-one priority is getting a boyfriend, you're more inclined to see a beautiful girl and think, 'Oh, she's gonna get that hot guy I wish I was dating.' But when you're not boyfriend-shopping, you're able to step back and see other girls who are killing it and think, 'God, I want to be around her.'"

On Demand Video: This Dog Luuuuvs Football!

I often tweet that the Bills always play better when my dog Penny is on the couch with me watching the game. It's true...She was on the couch for much of the Bears game. Was outside when Chicago tied the game at 17. Hey, we all have our football superstitions! But THIS dog REALLY gets into the game. He's ready to suit up!

Survivor's Jimi Jamison...Who DIDN'T Sing Eye Of The Tiger...Has Passed

Jimi Jamison, lead singer of somewhat iconic 80s power band Survivor, passed away Sunday. The odd thing is he DIDN'T sing the hit studio version of Eye Of The Tiger.
The website DECIDER has the story. And, no until now, we've never heard of The Decider either!

What Type Of Learners Are Your Kids, And Is There A Better Way For Them To Learn

When my wife embarked on a new career, she came across
the Education Planner Self Assessment Test as part of her change.  Her results totally corresponded with how she felt she best learned new skills throughout her life, from grade school to the business world.  I took the test too, and it was right on for me as well.

With back to school season here, if you find your child having a rough time learning, maybe it's not them, it's that they don't learn best in the fashion they are being taught...the formal classroom. Tactile people are less likely to learn in a typical classroom setting.  They are often creatively gifted, but easily distracted.  Meanwhile,
this test showed I'm 40% Auditory, 30% Visual, and 30% Tactile, which makes sense, and shows I'm in the right field, communications.

Take the
Education Planner Self Assessment for yourself, or have your kids do it. You may be surprised at what you find out about yourself, and it may help you learn better in the future!
