Easter just might be the biggest eating weekend outside Thanksgiving. And lets face it, a lot of what we're eating is not at the top of the food pyramid! Chocolate and Peeps! To help you feel better about over-indulging, click these Rob Lucas approved links:

David Beckham’s infamous cornrows and Kelly Osbourne’s Mohawk weren't far behind the ‘Skrillex’ trend, named after the dubstep DJ's long dark style with one side of his head shaved.
Rob Lucas climbed aboard Hunter Hayes' tour bus for a one-on-one, before he opened for Carrie Underwood at First Niagara Center. Check out what it was like for Hunter the first time he realized people knew all the words to his songs, and how a major movie star (think "Godfather"!) gave him his first guitar!

If you listen to Star (and are female) chances are you love Romantic Novels: books that borderline on being naughty, but aren't quite 50 Shades Of Grey. Bill Geist filed a report on the CBS Sunday Morning Showon romantic novels being taken to the next level. It just may give you some ideas for your summer beach reading!
It's gotten over 200,000,000 hits, but since I'm just seeing it for the first time, chances are you may be too! Almost like a dance version of Fallon and Timberlake's the History of Rap! Very funny...
If you want to laugh for three minutes straight, check out a new montage from WorldWideInterweb.com called "The Ultimate Stairway Fails". It's just under three minutes of nothing but people falling down stairs. Everything from brides to babies that's why I feel so bad! But nobody was hurt. some of these are brutal.

Irish food is very polarizing...some can't wait for the corned beef and cabbage, others think it's bland, bland, bland. Fox News and Cooking Light Magazine have a great pictorial with everything from Ploughman's Lunch Platter, to Beef and Guinness Stew, and Irish Coffee!
And for dessert, check out Chocolate Covered Katies Healthy Dessert blog. We have no idea who she is, but we love her blog page. Healthy chocolate desserts...is there such a thing?
While the Bills cutting Ryan Fitzpatrick yesterday was not unexpected and a good football move, it is sad that our city will be losing a great family. Too bad Ryan wasn’t more successful, he’s the kind of guy the fans in Buffalo are rooting for, as written by Jerry Sullivan in The Buffalo News.
MUST WATCH! You'll see the short version of this in upcoming Pepsi commercials, but the full 3 minute version is hilarious. At first I thought the sales guy was just a really good actor, but as you go along, you can tell he's just a regular car salesman. The swearing and his "near vomiting in the car" look gives it away. That guy will NEVER live this down. Open the video up to FULL SCREEN for max effect!
One of my favorite casual reads is Mens Health magazine. It’s got tons of realistic "you can do them at home" workouts, and lots of truly useful information. Womens Health is a great read for women. This months celebrity feature is on Adam Levine and yoga. The guy can do some pretty amazing things. And the cool thing about yoga is that you can do it at almost age, and if you start young, it will help your flexibilty when you are 80. That's why my wife has been trying to get me to do it more often. Though I don't think once a week cuts it...
Everybody at work was extra cranky yesterday! We all chalked it up to Daylight Saving Time. My wife came home wanting to start a federal petition to get rid of it and wondered if we really need it anymore. The Mother Nature Network has a great article of many feeling the same way... even the Russians!
Would you give up an hour of daylight in the late afternoon, in exchange for it being lighter earlier, and not having your body clock thrown off?
Last week I told you about picking up the book "Emily & Einstein" by Linda Francis Lee, for my wife, on a whim. Read my original blog post here.
My wife is now about half way thru the book and says as odd as the premise is, it is a great read! She can’t wait to get back to it at night. So what is the premise? A woman loses her husband early on in life; only to find out he was not that great of a husband….cheated on his wife, almost had a double life. However, he asked for a second chance at the pearly gates, is given one and is brought back to earth as a dog, who ends up with his wife. Eventually she realizes this along the way.
As crazy and “Life Time” movie-ish as it sounds, it’s a really good story especially when he describes what it’s like being a dog: Waking up in a shelter, smelling all those hideous dog shelter smells, relying on other people to feed him, and having to relieve himself in front of others! Sounds like the perfect punishment for the imperfect husband!
Don’t worry, I won’t post a future post letting you know how it ends, but my wife says it actually makes you think how you treat your own dog. It’s turned out to be a great book and has the Rob (and Linda) Lucas Seal of approval!
If you missed Saturday Night Live with Justin Timberlake, you not only missed the D**k Box boys and other expected Timberlake bits, but a reunion of important former SNL cast members as JT was inducted into the Five-Timers club.
Whether you went to Rihanna Friday night and are reliving the experience, or just wanna know what went down, check out the concert review from HOLLYWOOD LIFE, which was mostly concerned with her NOT performing any Chris Brown songs. An interesting take on the night, but I don't know if that's where I would have started.
Jeff Miers review in The Buffalo Newswas right on, especially clearing up the issue as to why her she didn't go on till 10 and end around Midnight. Going on so late would have driven me crazy, and I'm betting it did some who were there, but it seems that once she was on...she delivered so well, that all was forgiven.
Truthfully, this is just a bunch of dogs playing, with Harlem Shake audio in the background! But it's still pretty cool...especially the dog trying to hump one of the handlers!
Hey Oprah had a book club, why can't I? While killing time in Wegman's the other day (and there is no better place to kill time other than a Sears Hardware department), I came across Emily and Einstein by Linda Francis Lee. The fact that it was about a woman and a dog made me want to grab it for my wife, but in reading theBarnes And NobleandAmazon reviewsit seems like it's a pretty heavy book, and the dog is not the biggestpart of it. Oh well!
If you listen to Star 102.5 I'm betting you'll like this book.
I know it's a little goofy to use the web of a 110,000 watt radio station for something like this, but if we can help reunite a dog with it's owner, it would make my year! Jenni, a black and white pit bull was lost on 1/13 near West Falls. The dog has been spotted in West Falls, Orchard Park, Hamburg and now Lackawanna. There are so many people tirelessly working to find Jenni. They have put up posters, put flyers on cars, driven around, called police and dog control departments in various towns.
If you see her, please call the numbers on the poster. I've been given permission to post them here. I soooo hope Jenni is out there somewhere looking to get back home. I can't imagine how cold she has been over the past 45 days. But dogs are smart...can find ways to live in the wild when humans would fold up the tent. Hoping we can find her!Visit their Facebook page for more.
Rihanna kicks off her Diamonds World Tour this Friday at FNC...but it looks like she's in town already. A Star Fan connected with us this morning saying that an unusual jet landed at Buffalo Niagara International this morning around 6:30. He checked the tail number and landing info on an Aviation site, and it said theplane came in from London, which is where Rihanna was just yesterday.
While many "sightings" like this usually end up being nothing, Rihanna arriving in Buffalo a few days early totally makes sense. An extra day or two to rehearse her first show (and the Sabres are away so the arena is free), and to get her body acclimated back to our time zone is totally on target.
Drew tweeted us the attached pic of what he says is her plane (hmmmm...I'm not sure if this is even the Buffalo airport...can you tell?) He's gotta work at the airport...how do you get so close?
Any Rihanna sightings? Hit me up on twitter @roblucas2 or e-mail your pics to roblucas@mystar1025.com. We'll hit you back with on air shout outs and props!

The news of a polar bear cub being born late last year and formally introduced to the public last week was huge for The Buffalo Zoo, especially as they prepare for a new Polar Bear exhibit. Local coverage is always nice, but when the story is picked up by the Associated Press, and is the #3 story on the NY DAILY NEWS website...that's very cool! Great article and video! Props to Donna Fernandez and her team at The Buffalo Zoo!
"Stuck in an elevator for 35 minutes," Ferguson tweeted, along with a video of them asking for rescue.
According to The Witchita Eagle, the actors were three of 15 people stuck in an elevator on the third floor of the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center. They were freed by the fire department after an hour.

This will give you some weekend inspiration.Amazing, heavy-hearted, must-read story by NY DAILY NEWS' Andy Martino, on the passing of a Mets catchers's daughter at just four months old. This baby endured so much in her short time. Makes our daily challenges seem so insignificant. It's a 4 page article…but so worth the read. The best stories can't be told in 140 characters…
