Rob Wonders: Do We Really Need Daylight Savings Time?

Everybody at work was extra cranky yesterday! We all chalked it up to Daylight Saving Time. My wife came home wanting to start a federal petition to get rid of it and wondered if we really need it anymore. The Mother Nature Network has a great article of many feeling the same way... even the Russians!
Would you give up an hour of daylight in the late afternoon, in exchange for it being lighter earlier, and not having your body clock thrown off?
