summer garden recipes

So you wait all year to have fresh vegetables from the gardens, and you are so excited when you get your first cucumber or tomato. Then the onslaught! More than you know what to do with....then you get creative....Zucchini-I've grilled it, made it into pies, fritters, loafs, cakes, muffins and stuffed. Tomatos-made sauce, made sandwhiches, stuffed-peppers,don't even get me started! But what a great problem to have.

Early bird gets the worm!

So I'm in the rest of the week for Rob Lucas! I actually look forward to the days when I work at 6am. Yes its a bit rough at 4am to get out of bed, but getting done with my workday at noon on a gorgeous summer day is priceless. Nail appointment then, I plan on sitting in my lawn chair and listening to the waterfall in my pond! Rough huh? So how's your summer so far? Did you travel? Did you get those home improvement jobs done? Did you relax? If you haven't get moving and have a great day!
