MARIAH CAREY IS NOT PREGNANT:

There was talk over the weekend that MARIAH CAREY might be pregnant.

--It all started at the Independent Spirit Awards, when she said, quote, "I have a lot of new acting projects coming up . . . But there's also something else very special on the way.  I can't say any more."

--That, coupled with Mariah's delightfully candy-coated figure, got a lot of people talking.

--But Mariah's rep says there is, once again, NO TRUTH to this rumor.

IT LOOKS LIKE "NUMB3RS" IS ENDING:

"Numb3rs" hasn't officially been cancelled yet, but it looks like it's only a matter of time, because two of the show's stars have already taken roles in new pilots.

-- ROB MURROW, who plays FBI agent Don Eppes, has been cast in a new legal drama called "The Whole Truth" . . . and DAVID KRUMHOLTZ, who plays his mathematician brother, has landed a role on an untitled RON HOWARD project.

(--If this is the end of "Numb3rs", this Friday's episode will be the series finale.)

BROOKE BURKE *WILL* CO-HOST "DANCING WITH THE STARS":

It's official:  BROOKE BURKE will be the new "Dancing with the Stars" co-host alongside TOM BERGERON.  (--Back in January, SAMANTHA HARRIS announced that she would not be returning for Season 10.)
--Brooke is pretty pumped about the gig.  On her blog, she said, quote, "Today is one of the most exciting days ever!!!  With the exception of my family and children, today tops the list of all my professional endeavors!!!  (???)

(--The season begins March 22nd.)

BETTY WHITE SAYS SHE *IS* DOING "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE":

Well, you asked for it.  At an Oscar party on Sunday night, BETTY WHITE confirmed that she will be appearing on an upcoming episode of "Saturday Night Live".  There are no specifics on when or how it'll go down.

--There was talk that she'd be hosting alongside MOLLY SHANNON, TINA FEY and AMY POEHLER as part of a special "Women of Comedy" episode, but "SNL" boss LORNE MICHAELS reportedly denied that.

(--To date, over 485,000 people have become a "fan" of a Facebook campaign called "Betty White to Host SNL (please?)!")

Farrah Fawcett's fans are upset that she was not apart of the Oscars 'In Memoriam' tribute that aired on Sunday night. A rep for the Academy says, "I would not say that it was an oversight. No matter how carefully and how conscientiously people address who is included, there are people who just simply can't be. In any given year there will always be some people that other people think should have been included and that there's more justification for one person versus another. It is impossible to include everybody."
