What The Super Bowl Did For Bruno Mars & Passenger

So how much does an artist gain by playing the Super Bowl Halftime show?  Our pals at say...

Besides the Seattle Seahawks, the other huge Super Bowl winners on Sunday were
Bruno Mars and Passenger. Bruno's killer halftime show with the Red Hot Chili Peppers pulled in the largest audience in the history of the Super Bowl -- we're talking 115.3 million viewers, according to Nielsen. Passenger's already sizable hit "Let Her Go" was propelled into orbit after receiving prime placement in Budweiser's heart-tugging "Puppy Love" Super Bowl spot, which won USA Today's coveted consumer-judged Ad Meter and has racked up nearly 40 million views on YouTube. At press time, "Let Her Go" was No. 2 on iTunes and radio stations were jacking up rotations appropriately to reflect that increased buzz. (FYI, STAR 102.5 has been playing LET HER GO heavily for weeks now...we know a good thing when we hear it!) Yesterday, Atlantic announced that Bruno's double-platinum album Unorthodox Jukebox was back at No. 1 on the iTunes Overall Album chart while his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans is at No. 3. Bruno also has 11 songs in the Top 100 on the iTunes Overall Singles chart with "Locked Out Of Heaven" perched at No. 6 and "Just The Way You Are" at No. 7.
